I'm not sure which category this one falls into, but it appears that
some installations of Windows 95 Sound Driver support attempt to
route the System Beep through the sound card and the sound card
does nothing.
There isn't much we can do about this one. Its a Windows 95 issue.
A workaround while you try to track it down is to use SET BEEP VISIBLE.
